An elderly couple have been found dead at their home in Paignton.
Officers were called to a property in Freshwater Drive following concern for the occupants at 9.45pm on Wednesday 11 March.
Officers entered the property and discovered an elderly man and a woman deceased.
Their next of kin has been informed.
Police cordoned off the house whilst investigations took place.
The deaths are being treated as unexplained at this time and the investigation into the circumstances is ongoing.
The fire service attended the property as a precaution and found no signs of a gas leak or carbon monoxide poisoning.
