A cyclist has died after sustaining serious injuries in a collision in Ashburton last weekend.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision between a white Volkswagen Passat and a cyclist on Headborough Road at 4.30pm on Sunday 14 July.
The cyclist, a man in 30s from Ashburton, sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital. Sadly, he has since died from those injuries.
The car driver was uninjured.
The road was closed whilst the scene was investigated by police.
