Did you hear the one about a comedy club for kids? Well that’s exactly what is coming to Devon this summer.
After being nagged by his own children for many years to attend his comedy club, Torquay Comedy Club founder Ben Milden finally gave in and has set up a special summer holiday kids show.
It is a show suitable for the whole family, with a mix of comedians on their best behaviour as well as children’s comedians so everyone of all ages has something for them to enjoy. Torquay Comedy Club has booked several household names for their shows including Sean Lock, Jason Manford, Ivo Graham and Larry Dean to perform for over 10,000 people and counting!
Torquay Comedy Club founder and local resident, Ben Milden said:
“We often receive emails from audience members asking if they can bring their children to shows and although our evening shows are 18+ we decided to try our hand at a kids show during school holidays, this is also to stop my 2 daughters nagging me to come along to our comedy shows!
Our nominated charity we often support is Feed A Child Torbay so it feels only fitting to donate profits from our 2 trial kids shows to this amazing cause.”
The 2 trial Torquay Comedy Club Kids shows are to be held on 7th July and 25th August withs some exciting TV name comedians performing.
