A Torbay hospital DJ is hosting a 24-hour radiothon on the 10th of July 2022 to raise funds for Torbay Hospital Radio, which is solely funded by donations and grants.
Volunteer DJ Jonnie is raising funds for the charity so they can buy more radios for the wards and waiting rooms at Torbay Hospital. Patients and staff will then be able to tune into the station and send in requests, and likewise listen to dedications from loved ones.
Torbay Hospital Radio provides music and entertainment to the patients and staff at Torbay Hospital.
There will be quizzes, special guests and lots of great music – If you’d like to tune yourself on the day, you can do so via the website, and via your smart device (like Alexa). Those in the hospital can also tune in via 95.9 FM. Details on how to contact the station with requests and dedications, or even how to become a volunteer can be found on the website.
