Update: Poppy has been found.
Buckfastleigh fire station have appealed to the public to help them locate a dog which went missing following a collision on the A38 at Dean Prior this afternoon, Tuesday 16th September.
Poppy, a poodle cross ran from the vehicle towards Rattery.
Buckfastleigh fire station posted on Facebook: “Poppy is a beautiful Poodle Cross who along with her owner was involved in a road traffic collision on the A38 this afternoon at Dean Prior, Poppy was obviously scared and ran from the vehicle in the direction of Rattery and was last seen running up the Rattery turn off on the North bound carriageway, Poppy’s owner has gone to hospital for checks and we would dearly love to locate Poppy and reunite them after their very scary ordeal, please share and look out for Poppy.”
