​Update: The fund now stands at almost £40,000.

Over £20,000 has been raised to help get a Torquay Man critically injured in Antigua back to the UK for treatment.

Christopher Tester, 37, was shot in an attempted robbery in Antigua on Christmas day.

Mr. Tester, who works at Birchell Marine in Torquay was shot in the head at his parents restaurant ‘Boxer Shack’.

He currently in an induced coma in Mount St. John Hospital on the island.

Friends of Christopher have launched an appeal to raise £90,000 to fly him back to the UK for urgent treatment.
