An elderly woman is in hospital with serious injuries following a collision with a car yesterday, 23rd November.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision between a Vauxhall Astra and a pedestrian on Cowick Street, Exeter just after 9.15 am.
The area was cordoned off and the serious collisions unit attended the scene to undertake initial investigation work.
The woman was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital with serious injuries including a fractured skull and injuries to her leg.
