An elderly woman was airlifted to hospital this morning, 26th January following a collision in Teignmouth.
Emergency services were called to a two vehicle collision on the B3192, Little Haldon at around 8.40am.
Police, ambulance crews, two fire crews and the air ambulance attended the collision, which involved a van and a car.
An elderly woman was cut from the car by fire crews and airlifted to hospital and the van driver was treated by paramedics for shock and chest pains.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service: “Crews used cutting equipment to free the lady from the car, with assistance from paramedics. The air ambulance also attended, and airlifted the lady to hospital. The male driver in the van was suffering from shock and chest pains, and also tended to by paramedics,”
