Police have appealed for witnesses after an elderly woman sustained serious injuries in a collision in Exteter yesterday, 29 March.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving a van and pedestrian on New North Road at around 6.25pm.
The 79-year-old pedestrian suffered potentially life changing injuries and was taken to Exeter Hospital. Her next of kin are aware.
Police have appealed for anyone who was travelling in the area and may have witnessed the incident or have dash-cam footage to get in touch. Please call 101 quoting log 644 of 29 March.
