Rowcroft Hospice is excited to announce the launch of Ella’s Vintage at its Babbacombe shop, offering an exciting collection of affordable vintage clothing and unique bric-a-brac treasures.
The Babbacombe shop will be the third location to offer Ella’s Vintage, following its popularity at Rowcroft’s Totnes and Brixham stores.
Following a recent in-store revamp, the community is invited to celebrate the new addition at a special launch event on Saturday 5 October, from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Nichola Thomas, Online Sales Specialist at Rowcroft, shared:
“We can’t wait to bring Ella’s Vintage to our Babbacombe shop. With a gap in the vintage market in our area and this particular shop offering a beautiful emporium-style store, it feels like the perfect place to offer this new and exciting retail concept. We already have some wonderful vintage clothing and treasures at affordable prices, and we plan to fill it with all the wonderful gems that come our way. Whether you’re a vintage enthusiast, sustainable shopper or just like to stand out from the crowd in something a little different, there’s something for everyone.”
As part of this fresh retail experience, the shop will also introduce a fun photo area where customers can snap selfies of their vintage finds and share them on social media. In addition to the vintage offerings, shoppers will also find modern, up-to-date clothing.
Ella’s Vintage is also available online on Etsy, Vinted and eBay where shoppers can browse a specially curated selection of higher-end, exclusive items.
Hospices across the UK are facing severe financial pressures, with over 20% having already cut services or planning to do so in the near future. Rising costs, stagnating government funding, a decline in charitable donations, and an increasing demand for end-of-life care are forcing many to make difficult decisions about the services they can provide.
Around 75% of Rowcroft’s care is funded by the incredible generosity of local people and the hospice would be unable to provide its essential end-of-life services without this support. The money raised from shopping with Rowcroft supports the hospice in caring for over 2,500 patients and their loved ones each year across South devon, with 80% of people cared for in the comfort of their own home.
If you can’t make it to the launch event, the shop is open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 4.30pm. You can also browse and shop online through Etsy, Vinted, and eBay.
