Emergency services remain at the scene of an incident in the Meadfoot area of Torquay this afternoon, Tuesday 22 August.
Police, Ambulance, fire crews and air ambulance have been in attendance following reports of a concern for the welfare of a person this morning.
The air ambulance landed nearby on Ilsham Green but is reported by locals to have left empty.
Police and ambulance crews are still on scene with road closures in place.
The nature of the incident is currently unknown.
