Exeter Airport is celebrating the start of new Ryanair flights to Faro in Portugal this weekend (June 4), marking the start of a twice weekly service on Wednesdays and Sundays.
The addition to the airport’s flight schedule expands Ryanair’s offering from Exeter and complements its existing year-round flights to Alicante and Malaga in Spain.
Passengers now have even more convenient options to explore the sun-soaked destinations of Southern Europe from their local airport.
Exeter Airport is serving a line-up of 25 destinations across nine countries in 2023/24, including Spain, Greece and Turkey, and flights to the USA and Canada via a seamless connection at Dublin. There is also a range of UK destinations available year-round.
The introduction of the new route to Faro underscores the airport’s commitment to enhancing travel opportunities for its customers.
Stephen Wiltshire, Managing Director of Exeter Airport, said, “We are delighted to welcome the return of this popular destination from Exeter Airport which we have not had for a few years. The launch of Ryanair’s flights to Faro further strengthens our commitment to providing a diverse range of travel options for our passengers. With our summer schedule now in full swing, we are excited about the busy months ahead.”
Exeter Airport has been acknowledged for its outstanding customer service, as demonstrated by its top-ranking position in a national passenger satisfaction survey of airports last year.
