Exeter-based communications agency, Absolute PR & Marketing is delighted to be hosting an inspiring and purpose-packed conference, that’s not to be missed.

In an era where corporate responsibility and sustainable business practices are at the forefront for many, the ‘Balancing Profit with Purpose’ Conference, aims to show how sustainability and purpose can deliver a positive impact on the environment and society, whilst also delivering profit, engagement with stakeholders and customers, and meaningful motivation and loyalty.

Taking place on Tuesday 28th November at Valeport’s premises in Totnes, the Conference brings together a panel of experts from a variety of backgrounds and businesses, including, Ocean Warrior, Future Shift, APG Architecture, Red Paddle Co, and the South West Growth Service

Delegates can expect a packed programme of inspirational talks from a host of renowned speakers, providing a fascinating insight into how purpose has driven them and how they have gone about making sustainability central to their businesses.

Top of the bill is a compelling keynote speech delivered by renowned explorer Jim McNeill, who has recently returned from his latest purpose-led expedition to high Arctic waters of Svalbard. Jim will explain how purpose has driven his work, exploration, research, and citizen science expeditions over recent years. Sailing to parts of the world where scientists seldom visit, if at all, Jim’s work, and that of his citizen scientists, will help to identify just how much carbon is stored in our oceans, and how this is impacting on acidification, as well as pollution and changes in biodiversity.

Commenting on the conference, Absolute’s Managing Director Rachael Whitson said: “With purpose, sustainability, and having a positive impact at the heart of what we do as an agency, we are delighted to be hosting this conference, along with partners who share our values and commitment to profit with purpose.

Rachael continued, “The morning will be packed with insightful discussion and practical tips on how every business, no matter its size or profit, can become a force for good, having a positive influence on the environment, society, staff, stakeholders and customers”.

There is still time to purchase a ticket. Head to The South West Balancing Profit with Purpose Eventbrite page to secure your place or to find out more: https://SWBalancingProfitWithPurpose.eventbrite.co.uk
