Exeter fire latest: Fire spreads to hotel

A huge blaze that has tore through one building in Exeter city centre has spread to the hotel next door.

The roof of the Royal Clarence hotel is now on fire.

Fire crews from across Devon are at the scene with from Danes Castle, Topsham, Crediton, Exmouth, Cullompton, Ottery St Mary, Dawlish, Tiverton, Honiton, Middlemoor, Teignmouth, Sidmouth, Budleigh Salterton, Moreton Hampstead and Newton Abbot mobilised to the incident.

Cathedral Green has been cordoned off.

The hotel was evacuated this morning.

There are no reports of any injuries.
