Two paddleboarders were rescued by RNLI crews after getting into difficulty near Budleigh Salterton yesterday, Wednesday 26 May.
Exmouth RNLI and Exmouth Coastguard team were tasked by H.M. Coastguard following reports of the two female paddleboarders in difficulty at around 7.15 pm near Otterton Ledge.
The RNLI lifeboat inshore lifeboat D-805 George Bearman II was launched at 7.25pm, locating the casualties at 7.35pm, who they were taken to safety. Neither required any medical treatment.
The lifeboat then made its way back to the Lifeboat Station and was back on service a short time later.
