Marissa Wakefield, Cockington Court Craft Centre Director, said: “We love having weddings here at Cockington Court and we are so excited to share our very special packages. The venue lends itself to providing a stunning setting that the wedding party can really make their own. We can’t wait to share this with everyone.”

There are several spaces at Cockington Court that can be used to deliver unique and personal weddings. The Grade II listed Manor House is set in 460 acres of stunning parklands, gardens and water-meadows. The stunning grounds to the rear of the Court provide a beautiful and unique spot for photographs.

The Hayloft is a unique, two-storey building, which has the option of ceremonies taking place on the first floor and food and drinks served on the ground floor. The Hayloft is perfect for intimate weddings of up to 25 guests. The Cary Room is a larger ceremony room, situated on the first floor of the Manor House and can accommodate up to 55 guests for wedding ceremonies and special celebrations and is also licensed to hold civil ceremonies.

The team at Cockington Court work with partners to provide other services to make the day even more special.

Marissa continued: “To make the day even more memorable, Cockington craft makers can create bespoke wedding gifts, favours, cards, cakes and jewellery. We can deliver for any occasion, big or small, and our rooms can be dressed and personalised to create the perfect setting for the special day.”

There is also The Space, which is available to hire for before and after the service to celebrate the day in a relaxed room, decorated to your taste. Come and meet Cockington Court’s Wedding Team, view the wedding spaces and find out about the specialist services that the craft makers and local suppliers can offer. It’s free to attend and no booking needed, just pop in between 11am – 4pm on Sunday 10 March 2019.
