The family of a man who died following a collision at a petrol station in Torquay earlier this month have paid tribute to him.
Jonathan Elliott, 62, from Torquay sadly died following the incident which happened on the forecourt of Sainsbury’s filling station at The Willows in Torquay earlier this month.
Jonathan’s family said: “Jon Elliott, 62 years old, was loved dearly by his family and local community. He was struck by a vehicle on November 1st at Sainsburys in Torquay and sadly died on the 7 November at Derriford Hospital.
“At this time, the family ask for privacy whilst they come to terms with the loss of such a large loving character and they pay tribute to such a wonderful son, brother, husband, dad and grandad.”
Any witnesses who have not already spoken to police, but who may have seen the collision or have dashcam footage, are asked to contact us via the force website or by calling 101, quoting log 593 of 1/11/24.
