The family of a man who died in Torquay at the weekend have paid tribute to a “loved father and son”.
The victim has been named by police today as 34-year-old Aaron Parrington.
Mr Parrington’s family have paid the following tribute to him: “He was a loved father and son, who will be greatly missed. Although we are grateful for the support, we would ask that you respect our privacy at this time.”
Emergency services were called by members of the public just after 3.30pm, reporting that a man had been assaulted on Ellacombe Church Road.
Police, ambulance crews and an air ambulance attended the scene.
Two men, aged 18 and 19 were arrested on suspicion of murder. Both suspects remain in police custody while enquiries continue.
