The fire service were called to reports of a fire at Hollacombe Woods earlier this evening, Saturday 14th July.
Two fire engines initially attended the incident on the Woodland off Torbay Road around 5pm
Another two fire engines were also mobilised to the incident.
Police were also in attendance, directing traffic.
Traffic in the area was delayed whist the fire is dealt with.
The fire service has not yet said what caused the fire.
