Emergency services were called to reports of a fire in Hayes Road Paignton this morning at around 8am.
One appliance from Paignton was initially mobilised to reports to a small fire at Whitley Court.
Crews located a small fire outside the external air vents, with the smoke spreading through the cavity, crews got to work using one hose reel and a thermal imaging camera.
Additional appliances were requested to attend including the aerial platform ladder due to multiple seats of fire located within the cavity.
Crews used 6 breathing apparatus, 4 hose reel jets, a safety jet, fog nail equipment and foam in use.
One casualty being treated by Ambulance for smoke inhalation.
