Firefighters came to the rescue of a baby seagull trapped in the netting on a building in Torquay this afternoon, Thursday 29 June.
Word spread on social media about the trapped seagull following a post on Facebook page Spotted Torquay.
With local bird rescuers unable to reach the bird, local fire crews attended to release it.
Those at the scene report the baby to have been alive and well following the rescue.
