A leading national property consultancy has strengthened its South West team after making a key appointment at its Exeter office.
Fisher German has welcomed Tom Lockton to its newest office, based at Exeter Business Park, as an associate director.
Tom will head up the firm’s valuation team in the South West, specialising in residential and agricultural property valuations for a variety of purposes including taxation, lending and expert witness.
The team already provides an extensive range of property advisory services to clients in the South West across the residential, commercial, rural, development, infrastructure and energy sectors.
He joins Fisher German, which has 26 offices based across the UK, after 13 years at a global property consultancy, including 10 years in its London-based national country valuation team, before relocating to its Exeter office two years ago.
Tom, who grew up in Devon, has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and understanding of valuation matters and benefits from a keen appreciation of the South West market, in particular country and waterfront properties, and farms and estates.
Fisher German launched its Exeter office last year to better service the firm’s growing customer base across the region, including clients it has been working with for 25 years.
Tom said: “It is fantastic to join such a highly respected and rapidly expanding property firm.
“I will be focusing on using my experience to further develop Fisher German’s valuation business in the South West.
“I look forward to working with property owners and fellow professional advisors right across the region on a diverse range of valuation matters.”
Hannah Rose, head of the Exeter office, added: “We are very pleased to welcome Tom with a comprehensive knowledge of both property valuation and the South West area, he is an excellent candidate to lead our valuation team.
“Since opening our Exeter office, Fisher German has already benefited from a number of opportunities across the area, and we look forward to strengthening our presence across the region even further going forward.”
