A number of carriageway reconstruction and resurfacing roadworks are planned across Torbay this autumn.
The following roads are part of the programme:
Paignton: Albany Road (Shorton Road to Windmill Hill), Hyde Road, Kings Ash Road (Luscombe Road to Whitebeam) and Headland Park Road (Great Headland Road to Cockington Lane)
Brixham: Summer Lane.
Torquay: Babbacombe Road (Torwood Gardens to Lower Warberry Road) and Redavon Rise.
Cabinet Member for Infrastructure, Environment and Culture, Cllr Mike Morey, said: “These works form part of the Torbay Council’s autumn programme to help maintain our infrastructure in Torbay. The value of the works is approximately £900k.
“We appreciate that residents need advance notice of roadworks to plan for any disruption, so we will ensure the duration and type of works is communicated well in advance of starting dates.”
The works will be carried out by our surfacing partner Cormac Construction Ltd
