After the fantastic success of Dancing Stars in 2019, Rowcroft Hospice is thrilled to announce the return of this much-loved event in 2025 – under a brand-new name, Strictly Rowcroft. Taking place on Saturday 17 May 2025 at the Princess Theatre in Torquay, the highly anticipated event promises an unforgettable evening of glitz, glamour and spectacular dance performances.
Following in the footsteps of Dancing Stars, Strictly Rowcroft is set to capture the hearts of the local community once again, raising vital funds for Rowcroft to support its
compassionate end-of-life care for those facing life-limiting illnesses across South Devon.
Strictly Rowcroft will showcase 12 local stars as they take to the stage, each paired with a professional dancer, to compete for the coveted title of Strictly Rowcroft 2025 Champion – dazzling a live audience and impressing the judging panel with two spectacular dance
routines.

Rowcroft is seeking enthusiastic local participants to take part in this exciting challenge.
Whether you’re an avid fan of dance shows or looking to take your first spin on the dance floor, this is your chance to get involved and support your local hospice.
All participants will take part in an eight-week training programme beginning in the new year, led by professional instructors from Danceworks Devon. During the training, contestants will learn two dance routines in Latin and Ballroom, ready to take to the stage and showcase their skills in 2025.
Everyone is welcome to apply with no experience required. However, to ensure fairness for all, it’s requested that competitive dancers refrain from applying.
