Update: Christeen has been found safe.

Police have appealed to the public to help them locate a teenager missing from the Newton Abbot area.

Police say they are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of 16-year-old Christeen Madge who was last seen at home on Saturday 20 December.

Police state that they have been carrying out searches and enquiries to locate Christeen.

Christeen is described as being of Thai and English heritage, is of slim build, and around 5ft 2ins tall. She has long dark hair and it is not known what she was wearing when she went missing. She has links to the Newton Abbot and Torquay areas but it is possible has travelled to London and may make efforts to travel abroad.

Anyone who knows of Christeen’s whereabouts or has any information which may assist police is asked to call 999 immediately quoting log 208 of 21/12/24.
