A new survey has been launched in Torbay to try to find out more about local carers’ experiences getting support in the Bay.
Healthwatch Torbay, the local consumer champion for Health and Social Care services, are independently collating public feedback survey Carer Support and how services could do things differently. The data collected will help shape services over the next three years.
A Torbay Carers spokesperson said: “If you care for a family member or friend with a disability, health condition, drug, alcohol or mental health issue, or someone who is older and frail then we’d like to hear from you.”
“Please help us, as your views are important to shape Carers Support for the years ahead. As you may know, every 3 years we set our plans for Carers Support for the future. A vital part of this is asking Carers what is working well and what is important to you, and we really do act on your feedback.”
“We know your time is valuable, and do not want to cause any additional stress. So please just complete as much of the survey as you are able to by ticking boxes, or you can leave comments too.”
You can fill out the survey online by visiting www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/TorbayCarers.
All responses will be kept anonymous, unless you request otherwise.
For help with the form, or if you have any other feedback, please contact Healthwatch, Monday – Friday 9.30am – 12pm, on Freephone 08000 520 029. The survey closes 8th January 2021.
