Hele Road could be closed for 2 weeks due to collapsed sewer

Kings Ash road to be closed during the day every day this week

Hele Road, B3199, in Torquay could be closed for two weeks it has been warned.

The road closed today, 22nd February between Orchard Road and Truro Avenue due to a collapsed sewer.

Posting on Twitter, Stagecoach said:

“#Torbay-due to a sewer collapsed in Hele Rd, Torquay service 31 has been diverted via Barton Hill Rd to Cricketfield Rd, Penny’s Hill, Teignmouth Rd to Westhill in both directions. We expect this road to0 be closed for approximately 2 weeks.
We apologise for any inconvenience.”

A diversion route is in place. Traffic is diverted along Barton Road, Cricketfield Road, Penny’s Hill, Lymington Road.
