Homes evacuated due to major has leak in Dawlish

Homes are being evacuated due to a major gas leak in Dawlish this morning, Monday 4th February.

The gas leak is at the Royal Mail Sorting Office in Brunswick Place.

The area is being evacuated and emergency services at the scene. Wales and West utility are also at the scene dealing with the leak.

Police have put a cordon in place.

Residents in Brunswick Place area and Plantation Terrace also being asked to evacuate.

Roads are also being closed:
