From Monday, 9th Feb, the Hop 12 returns to service in Torquay.
This is welcome news for local Traders, who, having complained that cancelling the bus route into the centre of Torquay, together with the works in Fleet Street, was ‘killing the town’ and had left many struggling to survive.
Stagecoach, who operate the Hop12 service, are giving five “Torbay Dayrider” tickets to traders in Union Street and Fleet Street. Pre-stamped for Valentines Day, the most romantic day of the year, it is hoped to encourage customers to show their love of the town and local businesses.
