Houses evacuated following ‘electrical explosion’ in Totnes

Homes have been evacuated and Bridgetown Hill closed following what has been described as an ‘electrical explosion’ in Totnes.

Emergency services are currently on scene after being called to the area at around 10.30am this morning.

Power to part of Bridgetown has been cut off.

No one has been injured in the incident.

Drivers are advised to use Brutus Bridge.
