A local housebuilder has relaunched its scheme to support deserving community initiatives across Devon.
Redrow South West, which is currently building new homes at four developments in the region, has relaunched its £10,000 community fund this year. They aim to fund as many local groups, organisations and individuals as possible – and are now welcoming applications.
There’s no cause too small, so whether funds are needed to help children get creative at Brownies, a search and rescue team in need of new lifejackets, or a local children’s group wishing to go on their first ever camp out, Redrow South West’s initiative can help.
The initiative, which started last year, aims to help organisations with specific donations and give them the tools they need to continue to flourish. Last year, Redrow South West donated £10,000 to winners including, Tor Support Services, who provide free counselling and psychotherapy for children and young people.
Sian Smith, Sales Director at Redrow South West, said: “We’re always trying to help create and support thriving communities in and around our developments. With the success of last year’s community fund last year, we knew we needed to re-launch again to support even more people.
“We’d like to invite groups and charities to share their stories and tell us exactly what they need, such as new supplies for an afterschool club, so we can help you support your local community.
“We’re looking forward to hearing how we can help people across Devon and the surrounding area.”
The fund will open on Monday 22nd July and will close at midnight on Monday 30th September.
