Members of local group Torquay Ladies Circle are organising a “new members” night on Tuesday 10th January to encourage other like-minded women aged between 18-45 to get involved and find out more about the great activities they organise.

The group’s main objective is to offer a varied and active social programme of events where members can enjoy trying out new experiences, whilst making friends and helping with fundraising activities to raise money for local, national and international charities.

Since joining Torquay ladies circle, new member Sinead has found the last few months to be quite a whirlwind of activity. Sinead said “I hadn’t heard about the Ladies Circle organisation until I moved into the local area. I wanted to make more friends locally and found these fab women on their Facebook page. And what a network this has proved to be! Since joining, as well as having made a large circle of friends in Torquay and enjoying nights out trying new things such as casino nights, canoe trips down the Dart River, I’ve also had the opportunity to really help make a difference within my local community through taking part in fun events to help raise money for local charities like the Santa Sleigh for Anode and other fundraising events for The Brain Tumour Charity”.

Torquay’s “new members” night on Tuesday 10th January will be held from 7.30pm-9pm at The Rock Garden on Swan Street. Anybody interested are invited to come along to find out more. The Torquay ladies circle group meets monthly on a Tuesday night.

“Being part of Ladies Circle means never having a dull moment. There is always something to look forward to or an event to help organise. I’ve gone from arriving to Devon knowing nobody to meeting great people and trying out different and random events like Pole Dancing fitness, being ‘Red Barrows’ at the Paignton Carnival, Pedal Car racing and Go Ape at Haldon Forest to name but a few. I’m so grateful to this organisation as I’ve made so many incredible friends, I’m having so much fun all while giving back to the community. It’s a real feel good group”

Ladies Circle is the sister organisation to Round Table and is open to all women aged between 18-45. There are Ladies Circle groups in 34 countries, across Europe, Africa and Asia. There are over 130 Circle groups in the UK and they work closely with the Round Table on large charitable projects.

Join Torquay Ladies Circle on Tues 10th January in Rock Garden Torquay from 7.30pm-9pm to find out more. Anybody interested can also find out more details at www.ladiescircle.co.uk/torquay. Please contact us on 07340420453 or via our Facebook page Torquay.LadiesCircle to confirm your attendance.
