People stuck indoors at home can exercise with the support of Teignbridge Leisure Services.
Staying fit and healthy is a priority in these trying times – and not just for that section of the community who routinely go to the gym, swim or take regular exercise.
Being shut in for days at a time can make anyone go stir crazy!
Now Teignbridge District Council’s Leisure Team have come up with a programme of free activities that can keep people’s minds active and their bodies toned, whatever their age or fitness level.
With lots of children at home and the Easter holiday looming, there’s plenty of fun and upbeat things to do for people of all ages.
Residents can find out what’s happening by visiting the TDC Leisure website or social media pages, but to whet their appetite here are a few examples:
Daily classes with a number of TDC instructors, plus shared P.E. with Joe Wicks, Les Mills YouTube classes
Workout@Home with Teignbridge Leisure. Anyone can create their own home workout, with a built-in online timer.
Spot The Difference Competitions at noon 3 days a week
Easter Egg Hunt on the website
These activities are FREE to use by anyone in Teignbridge. People don’t have to be a Teignbridge Leisure Member to take part.
