There is just one more week to have your say on The Big Plan – Torbay’s Learning Disabilities plan.
People in Torbay with Learning Disabilities, their Support Workers, Carers and health and social care workers are being asked to give their views on the new Learning Disability Strategy.
Councillor Hayley Tranter, Adult and Community Services, Public Health and Inequalities for Torbay Council, said: “Thank you to everyone who has taken part in our survey so far about The Big Plan. We are committed to improving the lives of people with Learning Disabilities in Torbay – if you have not yet had the chance to do the survey then please do – we want to hear from anyone if you have a Learning Disability, Support Workers, NHS and care workers, volunteers, and charities working with people with Learning Disabilities, or any other interested stakeholder.”
The Big Plan for Torbay is Torbay Council’s plan to help make a positive difference to the lives of people with a learning disability of all ages.
We have split our Big Plan into six areas:
§ Community & Independence
§ Home
§ Health
§ Care & Support
