Lymington Road closed after car collides with bus

Update: the road is now open.

Lymington Road in Torquay is currently closed after a car collided with a bus earlier this evening, 11th November.

People at the scene have said the occupants of the car have left the scene and police are looking for them but this is  yet to be confirmed.

The road is currently closed outside of Upton Park from the roundabout.

Police are on scene.

It is not yet known if anyone was injured in the collision.

Posting on Twitter @SgtSheps (#BayCops) posted: 

“Getting reports of an RTC Car vs Bus on Lymington Road #Torquay. Units are on scene but please approach with caution while we deal with the scene,”
