The M5 is closed between junctions 28 and 29 following the incident earlier this morning. The road is expected to be closed for some time and diversions are in place.

There is a second closure on the M5 around Taunton after a serious collision.

The M5 southbound between J25 and J26 is now being fully closed due to a serious collision. Long delays on the approach. Lane 3 also closed northbound. Please allow extra journey time and approach with care, will keep you updated. pic.twitter.com/KCygOTI8yH

Highways England posted on Twitter:

“The M5 southbound between J25 and J26 is now being fully closed due to a serious collision. Long delays on the approach. Lane 3 also closed northbound. Please allow extra journey time and approach with care, will keep you updated,”

Another serious Collison has closed the A30 between the A303 and A35.
