A man has been arrested following a collision in Exeter in which a cyclist sustained serious injuries.
Emergency services were called to reports of a collision involving a black BMW and a cyclist on Western Way, at the Barnfield Road junction at around 8.35pm on Saturday 7 August.
The road was closed whilst police investigated the scene, reopening the following day at 5.20am.
A 21-year-old man from Plymouth was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving, and has been released under investigation, pending further enquiries.
