A quantity of what Police believe to a controlled drug was seized by police near Brixham earlier this evening, 29th March.
Officers from Brixham carried out a stop check and searched a male and the vehicle he was in under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
The man who is 46, was arrested on suspicion of drugs offences.
Brixham Police are becoming well known on social media for their #catchoftheday hashtag.
Posting on their Facebook page, they said:
“At about 1815 hours today Brixham officers carried out a stop check and subsequent search of a male and car, under the Misuse of Drugs Act. The car was on its way out of Brixham at the time.
“The 46 year old male was arrested on suspicion of drugs offences, after a quantity of what is believed to be controlled drugs were seized.#OpOlympic #CatchoftheDay“
