A man has been charged with murder following a death in Dartmouth on Saturday 22nd August.
Dean Rosser, aged 48 from Jubilee Close, Dartmouth has been charged with the murder of 49-year-old Colin Edwards from Dartmouth.
Rosser has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Torquay Magistrates Court this morning.
The charge follows an investigation undertaken by the Major Crime Investigation Team and local officers from Devon and Cornwall Police.
A 43-year-old man from Dartmouth who was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender in connection with this murder remains on police bail.
