A man has died following a collision in Paignton in the early hours of yesterday morning, Sunday 8 October.
The Collision happened on Dartmouth Road and involved a parked and unattended VW van and an Hyundai i20. The car caught fire following the collision and a 40-year-old man was pronounced deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
Emergency services were called at around 1:36am, the road was closed for a number of hours whilst the scene was investigated. Police thank the public for their patience.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who were in the area at the time of the collision or may have dash cam footage to make contact on 101 or via their website and quoting Log 0078 of 8th October 2023.
