A man has been rescued from cliffs in Brixham this evening.
Emergency services were alerted at around 5:20pm this evening after a 21 year old man got stuck after attempting to ‘free-climb’ the 60 metre cliff.
Fire engines from Brixham and Torquay together with a Special Rescue Team from Camels Head were mobilised to a report of a male stuck on a cliff ledge.
Upon arrival crews requested the Coastguard to attend to assist with the rescue.
Crews used specialist line equipment and liaised and assisted Coastguard to secure and rescue the male.
