A man was was rescued from a tree in a Newton Abbot park this afternoon, 12th June.
The fire were called to reports of a man stuck in a tree at Courtnay Park just before 5pm.
Crews from Newton Abbot were mobilised to the incident.
A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said on their website:
“On arrival crews discovered a nineteen year old male stuck up the tree.
“Crews used a short extension ladder to rescue the male uninjured,”
