A man has sustained life-threatening injuries in a collision on the A380 near Kingsteignton yesterday, Tuesday 16 April.
Emergency services were called to reports of a three vehicle collision at around 9.10am.
Emergency services, including police, fire and ambulance crews attended the incident involving a white Scania Tipper lorry, a white Toyota Dyna and a red Fiat 500.
Police are appealing for witnesses and any information about the collision which happened on the southbound at the on-slip at Ideford Coombe. Police say they are also hoping to identify the drivers of two other vehicles, a silver 4×4 and a small red hatchback, which are believed to have been present at the time to assist with their enquiries.
The passenger of the Toyota, a 23-year-old man, sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. The driver of the same vehicle, a 35-year-old man was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The drivers of the two other vehicles were not injured.
The road was closed until early evening while an investigation was carried out at the scene.
