A local man has sustained a serious head injury in serious assault in Paignton over the weekend.
The assault happened at 2.30am on Sunday 8th July, around the Station Square and Gerston Road area of Paignton.
The victim, a 24-year-old local man was taken to Torbay Hospital and later transferred to Derriford Hospital.
Police have appealed to the public for information and for anyone who was in the area at the time to contact them
The offender is described as a white male, approximately 25-years-old, with a beard. He was tall and was wearing a black t-shirt.
