Police have appealed for witnesses after a mans body was found in an alley in Plymouth last month.
Police are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have seen Jonathan Davys, 29, in the Stonehouse area on Saturday 16 September between 5.10pm and 7.45pm.
Jonathan’s body was found in an alleyway which links to Martin Street, Stonehouse at 7.45pm. The death is being treated as unexplained.
Detective Sergeant Jason Power, Senior Investigating Officer, said: “Enquiries are continuing into the circumstances surrounding Jonathan’s death.
“We await the results of a forensic post-mortem to establish the cause of death.
“We would like to speak to anyone who saw Jonathan in the area of Martin Street and Union Street that evening or may be able to assist us with our investigation.”
The death was referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) as Jonathan Davys had contact with police earlier in the day.
Devon and Cornwall Police are carrying out the investigation into Jonathan Davys’ death and the circumstances around the contact he had with police that day.
