This February, Lympstone Manor is excited to welcome British chef and restauranteur Marco Pierre White for a special ‘In Conversation’ evening with Michael Caines MBE.
On Monday 3rd February, guests are invited to experience an extraordinary evening of fine dining and captivating conversation as chef Marco Pierre White joins Michael and the Lympstone Manor team for a gala dinner and after-dinner Q&A conversation, with Marco sharing stories and tales from his extensive career in the kitchen.
The eight-course gala dinner, titled ‘Homage to Marco Pierre White’, celebrates the culinary legacy of one of Britain’s most influential chefs. Dishes include Blanquette of Langoustine and Scallops with lemongrass and ginger bisque, Roast Pigeon with mushroom raviolo and black truffle madeira sauce, South Devon Beef with confit shallots, garlic and watercress purée, and a Caramelised Lemon Tart with Lemon confit sorbet. Welcome Champagne apéritifs and canapés will be served on arrival, with an exceptional flight of wines to accompany the menu, finishing with coffee, tea, and petit fours to conclude the experience.
Following the meal, Marco Pierre White will join Michael Caines for an engaging conversation, offering a rare insight into his remarkable journey from humble beginnings to becoming the youngest chef to achieve three Michelin stars.
This special event is available as part of an overnight stay package, with prices starting from £1,386 per room, based on double occupancy. The package includes the gala dinner, wine flight, and a one-night stay, with the option to extend your stay for a second night at 50% off on a bed and breakfast basis.
