The Mayor of Dawlish was the special guest at the launch of the new show homes at Taylor Wimpey’s Brook Vale development month.

Cllr Lin Goodman-Bradbury visited the new community on Friday 11th October to officially open the two show homes before the first customers got the chance to look around.

Brook Vale is a collection of 180 homes, including a great selection of three and four-bedroom houses. Since launching in April this year the development has proven popular with a range of buyers, and the new Byford and Huxford show homes were busy throughout the weekend.

As a thank you to the Mayor, Taylor Wimpey made a donation of £500 to one of her three chosen charities, Dawlish Against Plastic.

Cllr Goodman-Bradbury said: “As Mayor, what a privilege it was to view and officially open the show homes at Brook Vale in Dawlish.

“It is lovely to think of all of the families who will go on to live there and enjoy Dawlish and all the amenities it has.”

Melissa Langton, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey Exeter, said: “It was an honour to welcome the Mayor to officially open our lovely new show homes, and it was great to see so many people look around over the weekend.

“We were also delighted to make a donation to Dawlish Against Plastic, who do such a vital job taking care of the local environment.”

Brook Vale is in Juniper Drive, Dawlish, EX7 0GL. Just one mile from Dawlish town centre, residents are also close to the A379 and Dawlish train station, as well as the Devon coastline.

A range of three and four-bedroom homes are available, with prices starting at £315,000. People can call 01626 650189 or visit www.taylorwimpey.co.uk/new-homes/dawlish/brook-vale to find out more.
