Police and Coastguard crews were called to Paignton today, Saturday 20th March to reports of a missing 5-year old girl.
Emergency services were alerted to the missing child from the Paignton pier area at around 1.30pm.
Police were backed up by coastguard crews from Torbay and Berry Head.
The girl was located by police on Preston beach.
