Cheryl Wilkins, 31 went missing from an address on Canvey Island on Wednesday (28th June) with her two sons Dylan, 4 and Leo, 2.

It is believed they are in the company of the children’s father, Damien Barnes, 31.

Neither Cheryl nor Damien are the legal guardians and Dylan and Leo were taken without consent.

There have been sightings at Barking railway station, St Albans, and WelwynGardenCity.

Following media appeals, officers received information that all four were seen on a train from London Paddington to Penzance on Friday, 30th June.

Superintendent Nick Morris said: “We are really concerned for the welfare of Cheryl, Damien, Dylan and Leo and finding them all safely is our absolute priority.

“We are unaware if the family have access to money and are worried they will not be able to support themselves properly.

“I know this is a really emotive issue but at this stage we are just focussing on making sure Cheryl, Damien and the boys are safe.

“If you have seen them or have information about where they are – no matter how small or insignificant you think it might be – I urge you to call us and let us know.”

Anyone with information can call 0800 056 0944 for free or 0207 158 0010 which may charge.
