Renowned author, broadcaster, and biologist, Monty Halls, is delighted to announce the first of a series of brand-new courses taking place this summer.
Set in the sunny Seadog Productions studio on the edge of the beautiful River Dart in Totnes, South Devon – Monty and some fellow industry experts will be presenting an exciting and insightful range of courses.
Three new courses are available. The team will welcome clients and participants to the South Hams to not only explore a range of courses beginning with ‘How to Write Your Book’ but also to spend time in this stunning part of the UK.
The one-day seminars will appeal to frustrated or inspired writers-to-be who are looking to gain advice and guidance about how to write their first novel. The workshops will also garner interest from those who are keen to develop and build their confidence in public speaking and communications.
And finally, who among us is fascinated by natural history filmmaking and who enjoys the ‘behind the scenes’ film after watching David Attenborough’s latest documentary? Our Natural History Filmmaking course led by Daniel ‘Raz’ Rasmussen will reveal all you need to know about a career in the television industry and just what it takes to film a blue-chip wildlife documentary series.
Seadog Productions have made four series for television including My Family & the Galapagos for Channel 4 and Commando for BBC 2. Seadog has established itself as a regional indie in the television industry and is proud to be based in Totnes.
Monty Halls is a Dartmouth resident and is excited to share his past experience both writing, speaking and producing television programs with a new generation of writers, speakers and broadcasters.
“We are very lucky to live and work in a beautiful place. I really look forward to sharing our expertise and experience with those who attend these courses”. Monty Halls
